This unit provides infrastructure, space, and regulatory support for clinical trials and clinical research conducted at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.

About

Almost 40 clinical trials, clinical outcomes, and epidemiology studies are now ongoing at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, most national multi-center projects. These studies are funded by the National Eye Institute (NEI), private foundations, and commercial organizations.

Trials on anti-angiogenesis therapeutics for the wet form of age-related macular degeneration and other retinal disorders are a major focus at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the present time.
