General Information
We designed this course, with simultaneous English-Spanish translation, for practicing ophthalmologists in Latin America and the Caribbean, to provide maximum emphasis on practical approaches to selected clinical problems. Every year, during the week following the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting, we gather together an outstanding guest faculty, and with the faculty of the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, we present material specifically selected for its relevance to daily practice. In addition, an accompanying trade show with 50 commercial exhibitors will be available. 

No AMA Continuing Education credits are given.

Early Registration
Pre-registered ophthalmologists may obtain registration materials on Saturday, October 23 at the course registration desk, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the InterContinental Hotel, Miami.

New Registrants
Standard registration hours are 8:00-9:30 a.m., Sunday, October 24, at the InterContinental Hotel for both new and pre-registered participants.

Registration Fee

• Received on or before October 10, 2010, US $450
• Received after October 10, 2010, US $550

Payment may be made in the form of:

  Payable in U.S. dollars to Bascom Palmer Eye Institute/Curso.
  No personal checks, please.

• In case of cancellation, registration fees are not refundable.

The InterContinental Hotel has reserved a limited bloc of rooms for our registrants at a special reduced rate of US$185 per room night (single or double) plus tax. Reservations made after the cut-off date of October 4, 2010, will not be guaranteed at the special group rate. Call the InterContinental Hotel directly at 305-577-1000 to make your hotel accommodations. Special rates apply for 3 days before and 3 days after the meeting based on availability. Reservation requests must be accompanied by one night's deposit.

Check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out is at noon. Cancellation must be received 72 hours in advance or guest will be billed for one night.
