Scheduling An Appointment

If you wish to schedule a patient appointment or consultation, you have several options:

1. Call the Physical Referral Hotline
   Call 305-326-6433 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
   
   
2. Call the Appointments Office.
   For an appointment in Miami, call 305-243-2020, or 1- 888-845-0002 (toll-free). This office is open for referral calls or inquiries from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and assistance is available in English, Spanish or Creole.
   
   For an appointment in Palm Beach, call 561-515-1500, option 2. This office is open for referral calls or inquiries from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
   
   
3. Call a staff ophthalmologist directly. If you wish to discuss a patient with of our staff ophthalmologist, need to make an emergency referral, or have questions or comments, please call the staff member directly at the private office number listed in this guide.

Having your patient's name, date of birth, address and home phone number will simplify your call. Bascom Palmer Eye Institute is open for scheduled patient visits Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Emergency Room Open 24 Hours A Day/7 Days A Week

Our ocular emergency room is available 24 hours a day/seven days a week for sub-specialty and trauma care at our Miami facility, 900 NW 17 Street, Miami, Florida 33136. The emergency room number is 305-326-6170. Patients can be sent directly to the Bascom Palmer Emergency Department.
